Peanut Butter Banana Pup-Cake

Ingredients

  • Pup-Cake:
  • 1/2 cup ripe banana, mashed
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 18 small, assorted Milk-Bone biscuits
  • Frosting:
  • 1/2 cup fat free plain greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350°F
  2. In a large bowl, mix together banana and peanut butter until smooth
  3. Mix in eggs one at a time
  4. Add almond milk, stir
  5. Add flour and baking powder, mix until fully combined
  6. Pour batter into a greased 6-inch cake pan
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cake is cooked through
  8. While cake is baking, mix peanut butter into greek yogurt, refrigerate
  9. Remove cake from oven and allow to cool to room temperature before frosting
  10. Take frosting out of refrigerator 10 minutes before frosting the cake to soften
  11. Frost the cake with a thin layer of frosting
  12. Line the outside of the cake with the Milk-Bone biscuits, press them onto the side of the cake vertically

Notes

*Sprinkle with a scant amount of sprinkles for decoration if desired
