Baked Buttery Lemon Pepper Tilapia

  • 4 6oz filets tilapia
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • zest of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 cup Brummel and Brown Organic Buttery Yogurt Spread
  • 1 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 2 lemons, sliced
  • 2 tsp fresh thyme


  1. Preheat oven to 425°F
  2. Prepare a 9X13″ baking dish with non-stick spray
  3. Pat the tilapia filets dry with a paper towel
  4. Sprinkle with salt
  5. Lay filets in the baking dish
  6. In a small sauce pan, melt Brummel and Brown Organic Buttery Yogurt Spread over low heat
  7. Add lemon juice and lemon zest, mix
  8. Pour buttery mixture over tilapia
  9. Sprinkle with cracked black pepper
  10. Top with lemon slices
  11. Bake for 12 minutes
  12. Switch oven to broil, broil for 3-5 minutes until fish starts to brown on the top
  13. Sprinkle with fresh thyme
  14. Serve hot
