This Cranberry Baked Brie is a festive holiday appetizer. Creamy brie baked with sweet, zesty cranberry sauce.
Is there anything better than luscious, gooey baked brie at Christmas time!? When baked to perfection it’s the star of any appetizer spread in my opinion. This Cranberry Baked Brie is so simple to make! The sweet, tart cranberry sauce pairs perfectly with the creamy brie.
How to Make Cranberry Baked Brie
This recipe uses my Mom’s Homemade Cranberry Sauce made with whole cranberries, sugar, pineapple, green apple and flavored with orange juice. The cranberries are of course the star, the other ingredients add to the flavor and texture making it thick and zesty! The perfect topping for a wheel of baked brie!
Once you have the cranberry sauce made this recipe comes together in a snap of your finger. Spread 1/2 cup of cranberry sauce on top of a wheel of brie and put it in the oven to bake at 375°F. That’s it. Probably the easiest recipe I’ve posted to date!
What to serve with this recipe
My favorite way to enjoy this brie is spread on warm bread, I mean, if you are going to indulge, why not go all out! Other popular options for serving include crackers, cured meats and grapes.
Can brie be reheated?
With smaller holiday gatherings this year, you may find you can’t eat all of this baked brie in one sitting (although it may be hard to stop, ha!). Once baked, the brie can be stored, covered, in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, put it back in the oven or microwave it in a microwave safe dish for 1-2 minutes.
