These Easy Pumpkin Dog Treats are quick and simple to make with only 4 ingredients. Made with pumpkin, peanut butter, eggs and whole wheat flour, they bake up crunchy just the way dog like!

1 cup pumpkin puree

1/3 cup peanut butter, creamy

2 large eggs

3 cups whole wheat flour

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Mix together pumpkin, peanut butter and eggs

Slowly add the whole wheat flour until completely combined

Lightly flour your working surface

Using a rolling pin, roll out dough to about 1/4 inch width

Using a cookie cutter of your choosing, cut out treats and place on baking sheet

Bake for 25 minutes

Treats stay best when refrigerated or frozen. If you know your dog won’t finish them within a week, I suggest freezing them.

How to make Easy Pumpkin Dog Treats

It’s so easy! Start by mixing together the pumpkin, peanut butter and eggs, then work in the flour until a ball of dough is formed. Roll the dough ball out into a single layer about a quarter inch thick. Your dough may be sticky once you roll it out so you definitely want to make sure you are working on a floured surface.

Cut the dough into dog treats. I use this cookie cutter to make them shaped like dog bones. But you can use whatever cookie cutter you have handy – your furry friend will not much care how their treats are shaped πŸ™‚

Lay the cut out treats on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes. You can space them pretty close together because they do not spread when they bake!

How Long will the treats stay fresh?

The treats stay best when refrigerated, they will only keep a few days if not. In the refrigerator, in an airtight container they will keep about 5-7 days. My suggestion is that you keep them in the freezer for lasting freshness and take a few out at a time for your pup to enjoy within 48 hours.
